How Do I?

You may call or stop by either Fire Station to request a fire report.

Station #1
1605 Santa Fe Trail
719-846-8664

Station #2
1102 Nevada Ave
719-846-3411

To report a Fire, Smoke/CO detector activation or any other emergency,  DIAL 911

Smoke detectors usually start to "chirp" when the battery is getting low on power. Replace the battery with a new one, if the chirp continues, replact the detector.

Unlike Smoke detectors, CO detectors do have a limited life span.  Most CO detectors last about 5 years, check the tag on the underside of the detector for an expiration date.

The City of Trinidad is currently using the International Fire Code-2009 as a standard.
